M.G.S Azul is the stage name and branding of the artist born Miguel de Sousa Gomes with the slogan and motto : “Serenity among chaos. Method in madness.”

Miguel Gomes always held a strong passion for the arts which persisted throughout his turmoiled childhood and adolescence constantly writing, singing, dancing, drawing painting or anything connected to it. After a first contact and introduction to music making softwares at the age of 14 he created the abbreviation and pseudonym M.G.S that stands for Mind God and Sound. Around the same time he was given the nickname “Azul” (meaning blue) by a close friend adding and giving birth to M.G.S Azul. After finishing his academic studies on Visual Arts he co-founded the late record label Vnlimited Records in 2017 consisting of producers and artists of various musical styles and genres from Afrobeats to Hip-Hop functioning for 2 years. He now pursues his art career full time as a multidisciplinary and multifaceted visual artist, videographer, musician, promoting and sharing his experiences and artistic knowledge connected to the pursuit of equanimity trough his work and online presence.
